Today’s song: Oh Dearest Daughter - Kevin Tuffy, such a great song. It features Laura Marling who won Best Female Solo Artist at the 2011 Brit Awards and has been nominated for the Mercury Prize twice I think. It’s a slightly old song, there’s more new stuff on Kevin Tuffy’s myspace/sound cloud that you should listen to. He’s always doing a gig somewhere in London, so if you’re local you should go along. It gets to be today’s song following last night’s sing a long in our Sheffield halls before a night out to Propaganda.
A night that ended up with me and Alex walking home for miles, stopping off in two fountains in Sheffield city centre, and one at the Rutland Hotel, near/in Broomhill. We’re a classy pair.
Wish I’d been amongst the protesters in London today, but sadly to poor to get there at the moment. Next time.
