Enconium of your mum

Second term of second year has started. There’s been all sorts of excitement already, as I’m sure you can imagine. We’ve discussed topics as harrowing as domestic violence, as broad as abductive reasoning and as historically important as Gorgias’ Enconium of Helen. But more, much more than that, we’ve seen that some of our fellow philosophy students have an extraordinary talent for wankerdom. Most are lovely, good people of course. Some, however, simply are not. As in lectures, so in life.

In other news, I have had a haircut. To demonstrate, here’s a picture of everyone being good looking.

I’ve always had a fear that my powers would disappear with my hair, after seeing many parallels between my life, and that of Samson. Samson married a Philistine as part of a plan to strike at the Philistines. I’m with a German for similar reasons. Luckily things are still okay, and with every day that passes, my hair gets longer and my powers get stronger.
